Dear Reader,
Are you one of these people who continue driving in the middle lane of a three lane motorway regardless of there being no vehicles using the inside lane and regardless of the fact that I am approaching you from behind at a considerably faster speed?
Why don't you move over and let me through? Have you not seen me approach? Do you ever look in your mirror? Do you believe the Highway Code says you should drive in the middle lane at all times? Do you think you?re safer there? Do you think you have a God-given right to force all slightly faster drivers into the outside lane to get round you? Are you one of these smug so-and-so's who "knows the law" and takes it upon themselves to police the speed limits? Do you give a toss about anyone else?
I would love to hear an acceptable reason why so many drivers, particularly young women (apparently about fifteen years old) in little red cars, white-van drivers, and elderly buffoons with glasses and a firm grip on the wheel, persist in this frustrating and highly dangerous mode of driving.

After nearly being run of the road by a coach as he was coming onto the motorway, I now make sure I am in the middle lane when I approach the slip roads to let people get on without hitting me. Yes I sometimes stay in the middle lane and will only pull over to the slow lane if and only if there is very little traffic. Selfish perhaps but then again people who want to overtake me can go into the fast lane to do so, a lane I never go in or very rarely anyway!

I always keep up with the traffic in front of me though, I am not 15, I don't drive a red car or a white van and I am not an oap either! I do get annoyed with people that don't keep up with the traffic in front though e.g. the ones who are in the middle lane and only go 50 mph! I go at least 70 if not more
